This hooded insulated jacket is built for varied mountain conditions and is what we term "active insulation", that is to say that it has very breathable synthetic insulation and highly air permeable fabric, meaning it excels in start stop activities, and negates the need to change layers on the walk in to a winter climb or when toiling to the summit of a Munro.
