Fell running (or sky running as it is referred to on the other side of the Channel), - ie the art of running up and down mountains, or fells as they are known locally, is a popular sport in Lake District, whether in competition or simply to be enjoyed for its own sake. Trail running is its gentler neighbour, sticking to almost entirely to well marked tracks, though in truth, there is little separating the two, the major difference being that in competitions trail runs are way-marked, whereas fell runners are responsible for their own navigation. In these pages we have gathered together the best of our products suited to those who enjoy running anywhere off the tarmac.
