From water ice in Norway, new lines in the Northern Highlands, or technical mixed climbing anywhere, the Hydra Ice Tool can be adapted to the job in hand using BD's Integrated Component Exchange (I.C.E.) system accessories - including picks, hammers, an adze, head-weights, spikes, and grip spacers.
The tool’s hydroformed shaft is ergonomically designed for steep technical climbing, from overhanging waterfall ice to hooking through mixed terrain. Plus the grip can be fine-tuned to fit your hand and has options for a lower spike or lower pommel.
Included are light and heavy head-weight sets, 4mm and 5mm spanners, two grip spacers, I.C.E. Pick, I.C.E. Micro Spike and I.C.E. Micro Hammer.
