With G10s now costing over £100, Grivel have launched a cheaper version. The quality is every bit as good in terms of performance but savings have been made by utilising a cheaper finish on all the components.
Given that any crampon loses it's shiny new appeal the minute you start using it in earnest, we see this as very sensible step and predicted (quite rightly) that this crampon would outsell the G10 by a considerable margin.
