The Crux X1 Strike is a two person single-skin tent using their new X-tex fabric which they say has significant improvements and advantages over the existing PTFE-type breathable membrane fabrics that are currently used in most other single skin tets (ie condensation build up in mild conditions).
The Strike is built around the same diagonal 2-pole, external pole-sleeve configuration as the X1 Raid, but features a third internal pole to create significantly more space at the head of the tent. This also means more room when it comes to entering and exiting via the door.
As on all the X1 models, the guy points loop around the poles themselves, taking stress directly off the seams.

Please note that this tent no longer has a "doughnut" tie-in point. This is not because it is not a good idea, but that Rab own the patent to it.
