A refinement of the MultiFuel stove that works with virtually all types of liquid fuel and gas canisters as well. It even burns kerosene, aviation fuel and diesel.
The stove's new preheating system saves fuel while minimizing pre-heating time. Using the separate control knob, the flame can be adjusted to provide the exact heat required.
The OmniFuel stove comes with a multi tool that enables the user to disassemble and assemble the stove at any time. Also included are a cleaning needle, and 600ml fuel bottle and Ergo Pump, plus the three different jets required for burning different fuels.
The jets included are:
Jet 45 (0.45 mm): For use with a canister gas cartridge (propane/butane/isobutane mix) which is the ideal fuel for the OmniFuel stove. The fuel is very easy to use, normally requires no priming, and is efficient, environmentally friendly and clean (no soot). Minimum maintenance and cleaning are required.
Jet 37 (0.37 mm): For use with high quality white gas (Primus PowerFuel, MSR® White Gas/Coleman® Fuel) which affords clean combustion and leaves practically no deposits in the fuel system. Normal unleaded petrol should be used only in exceptional cases since it contains additives which are harmful to your health and also leave deposits in the fuel system (leaded petrol should never be used).
Jet 28 (0.28mm): For use with kerosene, paraffin, Jet A or Jet A-1 and similar fuels. Although kerosene is available worldwide and maybe all that is available, it creates more soot, requires priming with methylated spirits or white gas and necessitates frequent cleaning. It will also burn diesel if no other fuel is available, though this burns with a very sooty flame, takes a long time to preheat and necessitates frequent cleaning.
NB Please note that the two spare jets are attached to one of the stove legs.
