A climbing guide to the crags around Braemar and Ballater, long considered to be the best local wet weather alternative to climbing in the Cairngorms.
Around 1200 climbs and boulders are described, incorporating trad, sport, bouldering and deep water soloing.
There are hundreds of new climbs and boulders on new crags including:

Bellamore Craig (Creag Corn Arn): newly developed east-facing granite escarpment of up to 10 metres in height with around 60 climbs.
Vat Burn: another relatively newly developed crag hidden in trees in a gorge on the east flank of Morven (872m).
Crag X:
Cambus o' May Quarry: sport routes from F4+ up to F7c+.
DWS: at the Linn of Dee.

Plus crag updates to Pannanich and An Cadha Dubh, and new sport climbs at Cambus o' May.
