This guide describes selected granite climbs in a fabulously picturesque part of southern Norway, a first class rock area with excellent slab, wall and crack climbing - from 3 metre problems up to monster walls with 18 pitches. Many of the climbs are bolted sport routes but there are also many trad routes and the full rack would include 13 quickdraws, wires, cams, slings and a pair of 60m ropes - it is imperative that you have two as otherwise you will not be able to get down! Some Maillons are also worth having to abandon on abseils.
More than 650 routes with about 1,700 pitches are described - many are in the E2 to E3 bracket but there are lots of easier climbs too. And there are about 150 boulder problems from easy upwards. This new edition also contains details of three impressive via ferratas.
