A southern version of the "Haute Route" (albeit not starting in Chamonix - though it could easily be extended), a walking tour from Martigny to Zermatt, largely undertaken on the Italian side of the Pennine Alps, where the walking is easier. At a leisurely pace it takes just over two weeks.
