Nikwax Downproof is a wash-in product that will treat the whole garment or sleeping bag with a durable water repellence (DWR) that does not affect breathability, look or feel. NB: If your down garment incorporates a waterproof breathable shell fabric, you should use Nikwax TX-Direct Spray-On.
After washing, tumble Dry the bag at the heat recommended on the care tag. Large bags will require several hours of tumble drying. Make sure the bag is completely dry before storing. An old (clean!) training shoe can be included to knock the down about so that it regains its loft.
